OVEN-ROASTED POTATOES AND ONIONS

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch-thick pieces
  • 1 onions, halved and each half cut into quarters
  • ½ cups canola oil
  • 1½ cups oil 444 cups fresh onion soup mix or 444 cups fresh onion soup mix
  • 1 cup fresh onions
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  2. Combine potatoes and onion in a roasting pan; coat with canola oil and olive oil.
  3. Add garlic, onion soup mix, rosemary, and black pepper; toss until potatoes and onions are evenly coated. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the nest and continue cooking until the potatoes and onions are golden brown and the edges are crispy, 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Enjoy.
