Ingredients:
- 1 cup cold buttermilk
- 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup frozen butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.2. In a large bowl, grate the frozen butter into the rising flour and chop until coarse crumbs form.
3. Add the cold buttermilk until a dough forms.
4.Lightly flour a work surface, knead the dough to a slightly sticky consistency, and shape it into a 1-inch-thick rectangle.
5. Cut 4 cookies with a 3-inch cookie cutter, gather the dough and reshape it to form the remaining cookies.
6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet with the sides touching.7. Bake for about 13 minutes. Optionally brush with melted butter and grill briefly to brown the top.
