This heavenly Creamy Vanilla Happiness Dessert is a delicate, baked vanilla pudding cake that magically separates into a soft, spongy top and a creamy custard base. Light as air, with a sweet vanilla flavor that melts in every bite—perfect for celebrations, family dinners, or a cozy treat anytime.


Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs, separated

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups lukewarm milk

  • A pinch of salt

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

  • Whipped cream (optional topping)

Step 1: Prep and Preheat

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or individual ramekins.

Step 2: Make the Batter

  1. In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar until pale and creamy.

  2. Add melted butter and vanilla, and mix well.

  3. Sift in the flour and a pinch of salt, and stir to combine.

  4. Slowly add the warm milk while whisking until the mixture is smooth.

Step 3: Beat the Egg Whites

  1. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.

  2. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter in three parts. The batter will be slightly lumpy and runny—this is normal.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Pour the batter into your prepared dish.

  2. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is just set.

  3. Let cool, then refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

Dust with powdered sugar and top with whipped cream if desired. Serve chilled or slightly warm.


Tips for Success:

  • Use lukewarm milk to help the batter mix evenly.

  • Don’t overfold the egg whites—keeping some volume gives the dessert its airy lift.
