Slow Cooker Easy Chicken Parmesan

This simplified hen Parmesan pasta dish is a delightful twist on the basic Italian favorite, all made convenient in your gradual cooker. By combining the comforting flavors of soft chicken, wealthy tomato sauce, and melted cheeses with hearty penne pasta, this recipe provides a full meal that requires minimal practise and effort. The use of Italian seasoning in each the fowl coating and the sauce presents a sturdy taste profile, making each chunk bursting with the style of herbs and spices.

INGREDIENTS

For the Chicken:
  • four boneless, skinless rooster breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs, overwhelmed with half cup water
  • 1 tbsp dried Italian seasoning (replaces basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Sauce:

  • 28 oz overwhelmed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

  • 2 2/3 cups raw pasta of preference (i.e. penne)
  • 1/2 cup water

Slow Cooker Easy Chicken Parmesan

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine bread crumbs, half cup Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
2. Place flour in one bowl and crushed eggs in another.
3. Flatten rooster to an even thickness, then dredge in flour, dip in egg, and coat in bread crumb mixture.
4. Mix overwhelmed tomatoes and Italian seasoning in a sluggish cooker. Add poultry on top. Cover and cook dinner on low for four hours.
5. Remove chicken, add pasta and water to the sluggish cooker, and stir. Cook included for 20 minutes.
6. Return poultry to gradual cooker, sprinkle with mozzarella and closing Parmesan. Cook included for every other 20-30 minutes till cheese melts and pasta is cooked.
