Ingredients:
- Eggs
- Sugar
- Milk
- Wheat flour
- Baking powder
- Vanilla essence (optional)
- Butter or margarine for greasing

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake mould with butter or margarine to stop sticking.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar collectively till you attain a creamy and homogeneous mixture.
3. Gradually add the milk to the egg-sugar mixture, mixing properly after every addition.
4. Slowly contain the wheat flour into the mixture, stirring gently till all the elements are absolutely combined.
5. Once the flour is completely incorporated, add the baking powder and vanilla essence (if using), and combine once more till evenly allotted at some point of the batter.
6. Pour the organized batter into the greased cake pan, spreading it evenly.
7. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or till the cake is golden brown and association to the touch.
8. After baking, cast off the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
9. Once cooled slightly, cautiously unmold the cake and switch it to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Serve the milk cake as soon as it has cooled to your preferred temperature, and enjoy!
