Simple And Easy Cream Puffs

These cream puffs are the dessert I’m told to bring to parties. What they don’t know is how easy they are to make!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup stick butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 small boxes of instant vanilla pudding, each
  • 1 1/3 cups cold whole milk
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Preheat oven 375 degrees
stick butter and Melt water until it boils.
Add flour and stir vigorously over low heat until the mixture comes out of the pan (leaves from the sides) and forms a ball (about 1 minute).
Remove from the heat and let cool for a minute. A few minutes
Beat the eggs (one at a time) with a mixer.
Beat the mixture until smooth and velvety. Place
tablespoons (about the size of a walnut) on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or baking paper.
Bake until dry, 20-25 minutes (maybe longer)
Allow the cream puffs to cool completely.
Mix the instant vanilla cream pudding with whole milk until the pudding dissolves.
Place the mixture in the refrigerator (at least an hour).
Assemble:
Cut into slices Open the cream and fill with the cold pudding
. Sprinkle with
powdered sugar. You can make different flavors of filling by simply changing the flavor of the pudding.
