How do I use Texas Roadhouse seasoning to cook steaks at home?
Have you ever imagined enjoying a steak without a marinade? Well, you can make a restaurant-style Texas roadhouse steak with a simple spice blend. I prefer dry spices to liquid marinades.

Brush the meat with the spices and let it rest for about 40 minutes. These 40 minutes help the seasonings penetrate the steak and make the meat tender and juicy.

What!

Is your mouth watering yet? It’s still raw, love. But the wait will soon be over.Heat the grill and place the steak on it when it is hot enough.

What if you thought about how you would know if the grill is hot enough or not?
The answer is a little warm, not as hot as you have to cook the stingray until it gets its precious brown color, not charcoal black!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric

    Instructions Make it:

Gather a medium bowl, a gallon-sized plastic bag with a zip-top lid, scissors, and a spice jar with a sprinkle lid.
Measure out 2 tablespoons kosher salt and pour it into the bowl.
Add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar. You can also use regular white sugar.
Measure out 1/4 teaspoon each garlic powder, garlic salt, onion powder and turmeric.Add all spices to the bowl.
Add 1/2 teaspoon each of paprika and chili powder to the bowl.
Measure 1 teaspoon of black pepper and add it to the bowl with the other spices. Freshly ground medium pepper is best for this mixture.
Gently stir the mixture to combine all the ingredients.Pour the spices into a gallon-sized plastic bag and seal. Shake the spices in the bag until they appear evenly mixed.
Cut an edge diagonally from one of the bottom edges of the plastic bags. The incision should be small enough so that the tip of the bag fits easily into the empty spice jar.
