INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
  • half of cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • two cups finely beaten graham crackers
  • two giant eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • two cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare Cheesecake Mixture :
– In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract till smooth.

2. Shape and Freeze :
– Shape the combination into small 1-inch diameter balls.
– Roll the balls in overwhelmed graham crackers to coat.
– Place lined cheesecake balls in the freezer for at least two hours.

3. Set Up Dredging Station :
– Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with overwhelmed eggs blended with milk, and one with panko breadcrumbs.

4. Bread the Cheesecake Balls :
– Take frozen cheesecake balls and roll every in flour, then dip in egg mixture, and eventually coat with panko breadcrumbs.
– Return breaded balls to the freezer for at least 1 hour.

5. Fry:
– Heat oil in a deep fryer or massive pot to 350°F (175°C).
– Fry cheesecake balls in batches till golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

6. Drain and Dust:
– Drain fried cheesecake balls on paper towels.
– Dust with powdered sugar earlier than serving.
