Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 can (14 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (14 oz) green beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup French fried onions (optional)

1. **Preheat Oven**: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. **Prepare Meatloaf Mixture**:
– In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

3. **Form Meatloaf Base**:
– Press the meatloaf mixture into the bottom of a greased casserole dish to form the base layer.

4. **Layer Ingredients**:
– Layer cooked macaroni over the meatloaf base.
– Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the macaroni.
– Add diced tomatoes, corn, and green beans on top of the cheese layer.

5. **Bake**:
– Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

6. **Add Toppings**:
– Remove the foil and sprinkle French fried onions on top of the casserole. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. **Serve**:
