Cheeseburger Pockets are a fun, handheld twist on the classic cheeseburger everyone loves. Packed with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and wrapped in flaky crescent dough, these pockets are perfect for busy weeknights, game-day snacks, or kid-friendly meals. Easy to make and even easier to enjoy, they deliver big burger flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef – 1 pound

  • Small onion, finely diced – 1

  • Shredded cheddar cheese – 1 cup

  • Refrigerated crescent roll dough – 1 package (8 ounces)

  • Ketchup – 2 tablespoons

  • Mustard – 1 tablespoon

  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon

  • Salt and pepper – to taste

  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven and Prepare Skillet

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2: Cook Onions and Beef

Add the diced onion to the skillet and sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft and translucent. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Continue cooking for 6–8 minutes, or until the beef is fully browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Step 3: Season the Beef

Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes to blend the flavors, then remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 4: Assemble the Pockets

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Spoon the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.

Step 5: Seal and Bake

Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges firmly to seal. Place the pockets on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.

Step 6: Cool Slightly and Serve

Let the cheeseburger pockets cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm.

Conclusion

Cheeseburger Pockets are the ultimate comfort food—crispy on the outside, savory and cheesy on the inside. Whether you’re serving them as a quick dinner, party appetizer, or lunchbox favorite, these easy pockets are sure to be a hit with the whole family. Serve with extra ketchup, mustard, or dipping sauce for even more classic cheeseburger flavor.
