- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional, for extra texture)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.

- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape the Cookies:
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, portion out the dough and roll it into balls.

- Flatten each dough ball slightly with your fingers or the back of a spoon.
- Bake the Cookies:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly cracked.
- The centers will look slightly underbaked, but they will firm up as they cool.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
