Classic Pecan Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 unbaked pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Classic Pecan Pie
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Add the Pecans: Stir in the pecan halves, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Assemble the Pie: Pour the pecan mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake: Place the pie on the center rack of the preheated oven. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. If the crust starts to brown too quickly, cover the edges with aluminum foil.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
