Crockpot Pineapple Brown Sugar Glazed Ham
Ingredients:
- 1 fully cooked, bone-in ham (6-8 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ham:
- Place the ham in the slow cooker, flat side down. If the ham is too large to fit, you can trim it slightly to fit.
- Make the Glaze:
- In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, honey, crushed pineapple with its juice, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and ground nutmeg. Mix well.
- Apply the Glaze:
- Pour the glaze mixture over the ham, making sure to cover it well. Use a spoon to spread the mixture evenly.
- Cook the Ham:
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the ham is heated through and the glaze is caramelized. Baste the ham with the glaze occasionally to keep it moist and flavorful.
- Serve:
- Once the ham is fully cooked, carefully remove it from the slow cooker and place it on a serving platter. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Drizzle some of the remaining glaze from the slow cooker over the sliced ham before serving.
