Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare Broccoli: Steam the broccoli florets until they are just tender. Drain and set aside.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Assemble Casserole: Add the cooked chicken and steamed broccoli to the bowl and stir until evenly coated with the mixture. Add 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and stir again.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread the mixture evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top. If using, add the crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs for an extra crunchy topping.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
