Creamy Bowtie Pasta Salad
Ingredients
- 8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1 cup diced cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- Prepare the Dressing:
- In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the cooked pasta, peas, ham, red onion, and cheddar cheese to the bowl with the dressing. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate the pasta salad for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving if desired.
