Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine the cookie crumbs, graham, cocoa powder, condensed milk, shredded coconut, chopped nuts (if using) , melted butter and mini chocolate chips. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed and the mixture becomes sticky. Form
balls: Scoop out small portions of the mixture with a spoon. Roll them between your palms into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
Coat the balls: Roll each ball with additional coconut or cocoa powder. This step adds extra flavor and prevents the balls from sticking together.
Chill: Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper or a silicone mat. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow them to set and harden.
To serve: Once the balls are cool and firm, place them on a serving platter. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Variations and Tips

– Variations: Add a dash of vanilla extract or a dash of rum flavor to give your Moose Farts more depth of flavor. Add mini chocolate chips, finely chopped dried fruit, or coconut flakes to the mix for more texture and variety.
– For a festive touch, mix in some spices like cinnamon or nutmeg or roll the balls in crushed candy canes or Christmas sprinkles.
– Tips: If the mixture feels too loose, add more graham cracker crumbs until the desired consistency is reached. On the other hand, if the mixture is too dry, add a little more condensed milk in moderation.- If you have a nut allergy, make sure to use a nut-free version for the breading or avoid rolling the balls in the breading altogether.
