Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: Chocolate glaze for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  4. Divide the batter into two bowls. Mix cocoa powder into one bowl.
  5. Pour alternating spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batter into the loaf pan. Use a knife to swirl them together, creating the marble effect.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before drizzling with optional chocolate glaze.

Conclusion:

This Marble Loaf Cake is a delightful combination of flavors and textures, perfect for any occasion. It’s easy to make and sure to impress with its beautiful marbled effect.
