Description

This Bacon Cheeseburger Queso Dip is a rich, creamy, and savory party dip packed with all the flavors of a classic bacon cheeseburger. Loaded with ground beef, crispy bacon, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar, this dip is perfect for game days, parties, and snack nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pound ground beef

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 6 strips cooked bacon, chopped

  • 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chiles (drained)

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, cubed

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • Optional toppings: chopped pickles, green onions, diced jalapeños, fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Combine with Bacon & Tomatoes:
Stir in chopped bacon and drained tomatoes with green chiles. Heat for 1–2 minutes.

  • Melt Cream Cheese:
Lower the heat. Add cubed cream cheese and milk. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the mixture becomes creamy.

  • Add Shredded Cheese:
Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar until completely melted and smooth.

  • Serve:
Transfer to a bowl or mini slow cooker. Top with optional garnishes and serve hot with chips or fries.

Notes

  • Spicy Version: Add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne.

  • Make-Ahead Tip: Cook the meat and bacon ahead. Reheat with cheese when ready.

  • Serving Suggestion: Keep warm in a mini slow cooker or fondue pot.

  • Great Dippers: Tortilla chips, waffle fries, pretzels, or toasted bread rounds.

  • Storage: Refrigerate up to 4 days. Reheat with a splash of milk until smooth.
