Baked Cheesy Beef Dip
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Sliced baguette or crackers, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic to the beef, and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add Sauce and Seasoning:
- Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Prepare the Creamy Base:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
- Assemble the Dip:
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Spread the beef mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve:
- Serve hot with sliced baguette or crackers for dipping.
