This Barbecue Bacon Pizza is a flavor-packed twist on traditional pizza, loaded with crispy bacon, melty mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, and drizzled with smoky barbecue sauce. Perfect for pizza night, parties, or whenever you’re craving something bold and cheesy.

  • 8 ounces bacon, cooked and chopped

  • 1 prepared pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)

  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.

  • Prepare crust on a baking sheet or pizza peel dusted with flour or cornmeal.

  • Spread barbecue sauce evenly over the pizza crust.

  • Add cheeses by sprinkling mozzarella and cheddar over the sauce.

  • Top with bacon and optional red onion slices.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.

  • Remove from oven, drizzle with additional BBQ sauce, and sprinkle with herbs if desired.

  • Slice and serve hot.
