These cozy little bites combine sweet cinnamon roll dough with savory breakfast sausage, creating the perfect grab-and-go morning treat. Flaky, gooey, and packed with flavor, they’re a hit with kids and adults alike. Think of them as the breakfast version of pigs in a blanket — with a sticky, cinnamony twist!


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

  • 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links

  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for brushing)

  • Optional toppings:

    • Maple syrup (for drizzling)

    • Powdered sugar

    • Chopped pecans


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Unroll the cinnamon rolls and separate into individual rolls. Carefully unwind each one into a strip.

  • Wrap each sausage with a strip of cinnamon roll dough, spiraling it from end to end. Pinch the edges to seal if needed.

  • Place the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.

  • Optional: Brush tops with melted butter for a golden finish.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the dough is puffed and golden brown.

  • While warm, drizzle with included icing, maple syrup, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

  • Serve warm and enjoy!

  • Want extra sweetness? Add a drizzle of cream cheese glaze or dip them in syrup.

  • Make them spicy-sweet by using hot sausage links.
