Baked beans are a staple of any summer barbeque or barbecue, and they’re incredibly simple to make at home. Don’t pick up a can of pre-seasoned, preservative-laden beans. Make these quick and tasty baked beans with bacon and brown sugar instead! Your mouth will appreciate it.

Ingredients ( Servings 8 )

  • 1 28-ounce can of original baked beans, preferably Bush’s Remove half of the liquid.
  • 14 cup ketchup
  • 14 cup mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic, minced
  • Brown sugar, 1/2 cup
  • chopped red onion, half
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind or soy sauce for gluten-free
  • Breckenridge, 14 C extra bourbon to your taste
  • 3 pieces of bacon

How To Make Brown Sugar and Bacon Baked Beans

1. Turn on the 375°F oven.
2. In a “9 x 13″ baking dish or a 12” cast iron pan, combine all the ingredients, excluding the bacon. Stir thoroughly.
3. Spread bacon that has been cut into 1′′ pieces over the entire top of the beans.
4. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until beans are heated and bacon is crisp.
5. Wait for five minutes. Dispense and savor!
