3-Ingredient Buttermilk Cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cold buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup frozen butter

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.2. In a large bowl, grate the frozen butter into the rising flour and chop until coarse crumbs form.
3. Add the cold buttermilk until a dough forms.
4.Lightly flour a work surface, knead the dough to a slightly sticky consistency, and shape it into a 1-inch-thick rectangle.
5. Cut 4 cookies with a 3-inch cookie cutter, gather the dough and reshape it to form the remaining cookies.
6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet with the sides touching.7. Bake for about 13 minutes. Optionally brush with melted butter and grill briefly to brown the top.
As soon as they come out of the oven, brush the cookies with melted butter. Brush again after absorption.These 3-ingredient buttermilk biscuits are best enjoyed warm and fresh from the oven.
