Ingredients ( Servings 8 )

▢ 3 eggs
▢ White sugar, 1 1/2 cups
▢ 12 cup softened butter
▢ 3 tablespoons of regular flour
▢ Buttermilk, one cup
▢ one teaspoon of lemon juice
▢ Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
▢ freshly grated nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon
▢ 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

How To Make Buttermilk Pie

The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Until foamy, whisk eggs. Beat in the flour, butter, and sugar until smooth.
Add the nutmeg, lemon juice, vanilla, and buttermilk. Pour into the pie crust.
Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until center is firm.
Take the food out of the oven and let it cool before serving.
