Candied carrots are a scrumptious combo of savory and candy flavors topped with a brown sugar glaze that will please each adults and kids.

PREP TIME     5 minutes 
COOK TIME    20 minutes 
TOTAL TIME  25 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound infant carrots, previous dry (454-grams)
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup salted butter
  • ¼ cup darkish brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup pure honey
  • ¼ teaspoon clean cracked black pepper, optional
  • 2 teaspoons sparkling chopped flat-leaf parsley, non-compulsory garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add the carrots, water, butter, darkish brown sugar, and honey to a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Cover and cook dinner for 8-10 minutes, stirring sometimes to maintain the carrots from scorching.
  2. Remove the lid and extend the warmness to medium-high. Continue stirring now and again for some other 8-10 minutes, or till the carrots are fork smooth and the brown sugar combination reduces and thickens. Stir in the cracked black pepper. Garnish with the chopped sparkling leaf parsley. Serve whilst hot.
  3. Enjoy.

NOTE

Ensure your child carrots are patted dry earlier than including them to the pan to assist the glaze adhere better.
