The dough for this cheese bread is straightforward and yeast-free, and plenty of melted cheese is sprinkled on top! It just requires 5 ingredients and can be prepared in under 10 minutes!
FOR THE DOUGH
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups shredded, low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 2 ounces melted cream cheese
- 2 large eggs
FOR THE TOPPING
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese.
- 1/4 cup of cilantro, please.
▢ The oven to 200C/400F for preheating. Put parchment paper on a sizable baking sheet and set it aside.
▢ Mix the baking powder and almond flour in a small bowl. Melt the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts until melted. Blend everything together until smooth.
▢ Put the melted cheese in a food processor fitted with a dough blade. Blend the dry ingredients, eggs, and water until the dough is smooth.
▢ The dough is rolled out into a sizable oval. On top, scatter the cheese shavings, leaving a 12 inch border on all sides.
▢ Until the cheese is golden brown, bake the cheese bread for 10 to 12 minutes. Add some chopped parsley and then cut lengthwise.
