Cheesy Green Chile Corn Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can (7 oz) La Victoria diced green chiles
- 2 cans (15.25 oz each) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 can (14.75 oz) creamed corn
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, diced green chiles, sour cream, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, and garlic powder. If using, add the chopped green onions. Mix well to combine.
- Season the Mixture:
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Prepare the Casserole Dish:
- Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or a similar-sized casserole dish. Pour the corn mixture into the prepared dish and spread it out evenly.
- Bake the Casserole:
- Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is lightly golden brown.
- Serve:
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as a side dish with your favorite main course.
