Cheesy Ham and Bacon Casserole
Ingredients:
- 4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
- 2 cups cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Base Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the hash browns, diced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions.
- Prepare Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Combine: Pour the sauce over the hash brown mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with Bacon: Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve: Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional chopped green onions if desired.
