Now, we’re not denying that a salad can potentially be mediocre if there’s nothing to spice it up, and that’s exactly why we’re so excited to share this unique salad recipe with you! It’s guaranteed to tickle your taste buds and have everyone at the table arguing about who gets second place.
Rest assured, you won’t find any sad, mushy peas in this dish!We gently steam a frozen bag and then quickly cool it so it retains its beautiful color and firmness. They taste so good this way! The creamy dressing with toasted pecans for extra crunch will make anyone a vegetable fan and the smoky bacon flavor tops it all off.

Pea and Bacon Salad
25 minute prep time Serves 4-6
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen peas, cooked and cooled
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
Dressing :
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup natural sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, divided
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
PREPARATION
In a In a medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, sour cream and mustard until well combined, then add lemon juice and honey.
Season with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked and drained peas, crumbled bacon and chopped walnuts.
Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.Serve for later use or store in the refrigerator.
