INGREDIENTS
- 6-8 pork loin chops (can you boneless or bone-in)
- 6 peeled and sliced russet potatoes
- 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup, 10 oz. each
- 1 can evaporated milk, 12 ounces
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons onion soup base (or 1 packet of Lipton onion soup)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fried onions
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
2. In a massive bowl, combine collectively the condensed cream of mushroom soup, evaporated milk, water, onion soup base, pepper, and salt.
3. Layer sliced potatoes in the backside of a greased casserole dish.
4. Place the pork chops on pinnacle of the potatoes.
5. Pour the creamy combination evenly over the potatoes. If desired, sprinkle fried onions on top.
6. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for two hours or 2.5 hours. Remove foil for closing 30 minutes to enable for browning.
