Crockpot Pepper Steak

This slow cooker pepper steak recipe is very easy to make but simply full of flavor. Our whole family loves this Chinese Pepper Steak recipe and we have added it to our rotating list of family favorites! I think your family will love it too!

Serve on a bed of rice with salad and dinner is ready.Since we actually make our rice in the Instant Pot, this dinner was incredibly easy using my two favorite appliances.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pound steak (cut into thin strips)
  • 1 green pepper (thick cut)
  • 1 red pepper (thick cut)
  • 1/2 onion (thick cut)
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Instructions

Place the meat, peppers and onions in a slow cooker.

Add spices, brown sugar and soy sauce over the meat and peppers.
Pour the beef broth into the casserole dish.

Stir to mix.Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours or on high heat for 2.5 to 3 hours until steak is cooked through.

Serve on a bed of white rice.
