Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Topping:
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar, honey, and salt, stirring until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
- Arrange the pecan halves on top of the caramel mixture.
- Make the Cake Batter:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
