INGREDIENT

  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
  • 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bottle BBQ sauce (18 ounce bottle)

Instructions :

Prepare pork ribs: Trim excess fat from pork ribs and season generously with salt and black pepper.Add Flavor: Place the seasoned pork ribs in the slow cooker and spray with liquid smoke for added flavor.
Top with ingredients: Sprinkle chopped onions and brown sugar over the pork ribs, making sure they are evenly distributed.
Pour BBQ Sauce: Pour the entire bottle of BBQ sauce over the pork ribs, covering them completely.
Slow Cooker: Cover the slow cooker and cook the pork ribs on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meat is tender and falls apart easily with a fork.
To serve: Once cooked, remove the pork ribs from the slow cooker and place on a serving platter.For extra flavor, pour any excess BBQ sauce from the slow cooker over the ribs.
