This Easy Tortilla Casserole is best for making on busy weeknights when you want some thing rapid and scrumptious that every person will eat!
INGREDIENTS
- 1¼ kilos floor beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon floor cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- One 10-ounce can enchilada sauce
- 4 giant flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar-Jack combination cheese
- One 4-ounce can chopped slight inexperienced chiles
- optional toppings: sparkling cilantro, bitter cream, salsa, avocado
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350℉. Spray a 9-inch rectangular baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a massive skillet, brown the floor pork over medium warmth till it is no longer pink; tilt the pan and spoon out the fats to discard. Add onion to the pan and prepare dinner three to four minutes till barely softened. Then add the garlic, cumin, salt and enchilada sauce. Reduce the warmth and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, or till the onion is tender.
- Place one tortilla in the backside of the organized dish. Layer with ⅓ of the meat mixture, ¼ of the cheese and ⅓ of the chiles. Repeat layers twice. Top with the last tortilla. Sprinkle with the last cheese.
- Cover gently with foil, and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an extra 5 minutes. Let stand at room temperature for at least 10 minutes earlier than serving. Cut, serve, and pinnacle with favored toppings!
