Peach Salsa
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped (optional, for heat)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the diced peaches, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
- Add Lime Juice:
- Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture.
- Season:
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
- Chill:
- Cover and refrigerate the salsa for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve:
- Serve the peach salsa with tortilla chips, grilled chicken, fish, or as a topping for tacos.
