This Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese is the ultimate comfort sandwich—crispy golden bread infused with garlic butter and loaded with melty cheese. It’s quick, cheesy, buttery, and perfect for a cozy lunch or a savory snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices white or sourdough bread

  • 2 tbsp softened butter

  • ½ tbsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp dried parsley

  • 2 slices cheddar cheese

  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley until well combined.

  2. Assemble Sandwich

    • Spread garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.

    • On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

    • Top with the second slice, buttered side facing outward.

  3. Grill

    • Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.

    • Grill the sandwich for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

  4. Serve

    • Remove from heat, let rest for 1 minute, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Cheese swaps: Try provolone, gouda, or Colby jack.

  • Add-ins: Bacon, tomato slices, or spinach make tasty additions.

  • Extra crispy tip: Use a cast-iron skillet for the best crust.

  • Serve with tomato soup, marinara dipping sauce, or a side salad.
