This dish is ideal for entertaining friends since it’s elegant enough to wow them and simple enough that you don’t have to put in a lot of effort. I’m always looking for new, simple recipes. Additionally, the steak and roasted potatoes with garlic and herbs are wonderful.

 

Ingredients

▢ 5 pound NY strip steak
▢ 1 pound. olive oil 1 tbsp. quartered or half baby golden potatoes
▢ 2 tbsp unsalted butter
▢ 1 tsp oregano
▢ 1 teaspoon thyme
▢ 1 teaspoon Rosemary
▢ 3 minced garlic cloves
▢ Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

How To Make Garlic Herb Potatoes and Steak Skillet

1. In a pan over medium-high heat, combine the olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter.
2. Add the potatoes, herbs, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook the potatoes for 3-5 minutes, tossing frequently, until fork soft. Set aside the potatoes.
3. In the same skillet, melt the second tablespoon of butter and add the sliced steaks. Cook, stirring only a few times, until they are done to your liking.
4. Return the potatoes to the skillet to warm, seasoning to taste.
