Ingredients for Greek Feta Salad Tower

  • 1 block (8 oz / 225g) feta cheese, cut into cubes

  • 3 large tomatoes, sliced into thick rounds

  • 1 small red onion, sliced into thin rings

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon salt (optional – feta is naturally salty)

  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional – for heat)

  • ½ cup green olives or Kalamata olives

How to Make a Greek Feta Salad Tower

 Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

  • Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds.

  • Cut the feta cheese into bite-sized cubes.

  • Thinly slice the red onion into rings.

  • Chop the fresh parsley and set aside.

Step 2: Assemble the Salad Tower

  • On a flat serving platter, begin layering the ingredients in a vertical stack: start with a tomato slice, add a feta cube or two, then a few red onion rings.

  • Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, forming a stable “tower” or layered structure.

  • Use larger tomato slices at the base to help support the structure.

 Step 3: Season and Garnish

  • Drizzle the entire salad tower with extra virgin olive oil.

  • Sprinkle with dried oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

  • Generously top with chopped parsley for a fresh finish.

Step 4: Add Olives and Serve

  • Arrange green or Kalamata olives around the base of the salad tower.

  • Serve immediately as a refreshing Mediterranean appetizer or side salad alongside grilled meats, flatbreads, or seafood.
