Ham & Cheese Puff Pastry Twists
Easy, crispy, and packed with flavor – these savory puff pastry sticks are the perfect appetizer or snack!

 Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of rectangular puff pastry (refrigerated section)

  • 250 g sour cream

  • 120 g smoked ham, cubed

  • 100 g shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)

  • 1 egg yolk (for brushing)

  • Optional: chopped parsley or chives for garnish

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface or baking paper.

  3. Spread sour cream evenly over the dough.

  4. Sprinkle cubed ham and shredded cheese across the entire surface. Add herbs if desired.

  5. Roll up the dough tightly from the long edge to form a log.

  6. Slice into 1-inch pieces, then twist slightly for a spiral shape.

  7. Arrange on the prepared tray. Brush each piece with egg yolk for a golden finish.

  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
