Lemon & Herb Panko Baked Fish Sticks

Nothing says household dinner pretty like selfmade fish sticks, specially when they’re dressed up with a lemon and herb panko crust. This recipe offers a pleasant twist to the all-time youngster favorite, lifting it with brilliant flavors and crispy textures. Making these fish sticks from scratch offers a more healthy choice to store-bought picks and lets you contain some healthful exciting into meal-prep with the kids!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb of white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia), reduce into 1-inch large strips
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons clean parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Cooking spray

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat your oven to four hundred tiers F (200 levels C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and gently coat it with cooking spray.
2. In a shallow dish, mix panko breadcrumbs, lemon zest, parsley, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or till the fish is cooked via and the coating is golden and crispy.
