Pan-seared Pork Chops:
a. Turn on your oven broiler or preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
b. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder simply prior to cooking.
c. In a skillet or pan, warmth olive oil over medium-high heat. When hot, sear the pork chops till they’re golden and cooked thoroughly, roughly 4-5 minutes per side. Once done, switch them to a plate and set aside.
d. On medium heat, soften butter in the equal skillet. Scrape any browned bits from its bottom. Add garlic and sauté till aromatic, which need to take round 30 seconds.
e. Pour in the honey, water, and vinegar. Turn the warmness up to medium-high and let the sauce simmer till it thickens a bit, which will take about 3-4 minutes. Remember to stir occasionally.
f. Return the pork chops to the skillet, and generously baste them with the sauce. Broil or grill them for an additional 1-2 minutes, or till the edges get a moderate char.
g. For serving, garnish with parsley. These pork chops go superb with vegetables, rice, pasta, or even a sparkling salad.
Baked Pork Chops Alternative:
a. Set your oven to 390°F (200°C).
b. In a hot, oven-proof skillet or pan over medium-high heat, sear the professional pork chops for two minutes on every aspect till they’re crispy.
c. Remove the pork chops, and then proceed with making your sauce as outlined in the directions above (Step 1d to Step 1e).
d. Once the sauce is ready, baste the pork chops with it and bake them in the oven for roughly 10-15 minutes, relying on how well-done you choose them.
e. For caramelized edges, broil or grill them for an extra two minutes.
