Ingredients
For the Patties:

2 pounds ground beef

1 egg

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Gravy:

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 cups beef stock

1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste
For Assembly:

2 cups cooked white medium grain rice

4 large eggs

Sliced green onions (for garnish) (optional)
Instructions

Prepare the Rice:
Cook white rice according to package instructions and keep warm. -
Make the Beef Patties:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.
Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Set aside. -
Make the Gravy:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes to form a roux.
Slowly pour in beef stock while whisking constantly until smooth. Stir in soy sauce, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened (5–7 minutes). -
Fry the Eggs:
In a clean skillet, fry eggs sunny-side up or to your preference. -
Assemble:
On each plate, place a scoop of rice, top with a beef patty, spoon over hot gravy, and crown it with a fried egg. Garnish with green onions if desired.
