Delicious Magic Cookie Bars (also known as Hello Dolly Bars and Seven Layer Bars) are loaded with layers of chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, coconut, and pecans on a buttery graham cracker crust. These delicacies can be prepared and popped in the oven in less than five minutes. I love bringing them to potlucks, family gatherings, and neighborhood social events because I always come home with an empty plate. Along with Pecan Snowball Cookies, they also make a beautiful and delicious addition to my holiday cookie platters. Peanut butter cookies and spritz cookies.

WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS!
This recipe is practically foolproof. Only a few ingredients are mixed together and the remaining ingredients are layered.
These 7-layer magic bars are always a hit at parties. As my late mother said: They sell like hotcakes. They can be made up to two days in advance, covered, and stored on the counter at room temperature.
For me, the magic of these cookie bars is how delicious they taste. So be warned because they are addictive.

HOW TO MAKE MAGIC COOKIE BARS

First, mix the crushed graham crackers with the melted butter. Now press it into a greased pot. Then sprinkle the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, coconut flakes and chopped walnuts on top. Then pour as much sweetened condensed milk as possible over the top lid. Finally, bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting.

USEFUL HINTS AND RECIPE TIPS
Grease the casserole well. These bars are delicious but sticky.
Change it up and replace the peanut butter chips with caramel chips. Or milk chocolate chips for semi-sweet chocolate chips. Or go crazy and use a mix of all the chips and add some caramel chips.
If desired, replace walnuts with pecans. The bars should be completely cool before cutting so they don’t fall apart.
Save a little money and crush your own graham crackers into fine crumbs in a food processor or using a bag and a rolling pin. One wrapper plus two full sheets yields about 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs.
If you have a lot of people, you may want to make two portions because they come together really quickly. Consider yourself warned.Store the Magic Cookie Bars in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week.
To freeze, place the bars in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with baking paper without touching them. Place it on a flat surface in the freezer until completely frozen. This process is called flash freezing. Then transfer the frozen bars to a sturdy freezer container with parchment or wax paper between layers.Freeze for up to 3 months.
