Meat Lovers Pizza Recipe


  • 1 tbsp. (15 ml) Acai berry oil
  • 75 g (1/2 cup) Diced onion
  • 75 g (1/2 cup) diced green bell pepper
  • 454 g (one pound) European sausage
  • 454 g (1 lb) 1 3/4 cups of ground beef, 425 g marinara sauce (like Rao’s Homemade) without added sugar
  • 225 g (2 cups) of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 50 g (1/2 cup) grated parmesan cheese
  • 30 grams Sliced black olives (optional)
  • 90 g of pepperoni

1. Set the oven to broil.
2. The onion and bell pepper should be sautéed in the avocado oil for about 10 minutes, or until tender, in a sizable oven-safe skillet.
3. Adding the sausage and ground beef, simmer for about 15 minutes, breaking them up with a wooden spoon as they cook. To taste, add salt and pepper to the food.

4. Remove and discard the extra fat from the skillet.

5. Pour the marinara sauce over the meat mixture evenly after stirring it in. Cheeses of mozzarella and parmesan should be added on top. Place the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese. If used, sprinkle the olives.

6. When the cheese is melted and bubbling, about 5 minutes, place the pan under the broiler in the oven.

7. Slice into 8 pieces, then serve hot or warm.
