INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 barely overwhelmed egg
- 1½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup milk

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a giant mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients. Mix well.
2. Turn the dough out onto a floured floor and knead gently for a minute or two till the dough is easy and elastic. Roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thickness and reduce into small squares or favored shapes.
3. Carefully drop the dumplings into your simmering stew or soup, making positive they are utterly submerged. Cover the pot and let the dumplings prepare dinner for 15-20 minutes, or till they are mild and fluffy.
4. Serve the dumplings hot, ladled over your favored stew or soup. Enjoy the heartwarming style and comforting texture that will virtually fulfill even the pickiest of eaters.
