Oven-Baked Bacon
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450 g) bacon strips
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Baking Sheet:
- Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. This will make cleanup easier and help prevent sticking.
- Arrange the Bacon:
- Lay the bacon strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the strips are not overlapping for even cooking.
- Bake the Bacon:
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and browned to your liking. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the bacon.
- Drain and Serve:
- Remove the bacon from the oven and transfer the strips to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess grease.
- Clean Up:
- Once the bacon grease has cooled, you can easily lift and discard the foil with the grease.

- For Extra Crispy Bacon: Bake for a few minutes longer, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
- Add Flavor: Sprinkle the bacon with black pepper, brown sugar, or chili flakes before baking for added flavor.
