Back when I used to be simply a younger gal, no higher than a cornstalk, my mama used to make the most pleasant little snacks that would convey heat to any frosty Midwestern evening. Today, I favor to share a recipe with a bit of a cutting-edge twist, mixing our ordinary Midwestern love for cheese with a splash of modern flavors. These Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are simply the proper sort of deal with for a gathering or a satisfied night time in. INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bundle of phyllo dough, thawed
  • 8 oz feta cheese, reduce into small logs

  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough on a smooth floor and brush gently with melted butter. Place every other sheet on pinnacle and brush again, repeating till you have four layers.
3. Cut the layered phyllo into strips about three inches wide. Place a piece of feta at the cease of every strip.
