Just three ingredients, a skillet, and 10 minutes are wished for this speedy and handy recipe for overripe bananas. These pan fried banana slices are best for a exclusive breakfast or an afternoon snack!
INGREDIENTS
- Two bananas (slightly overripe)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (or substitute)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Slice the bananas into rounds, about ⅓ inch thick.
2 bananas - In a small bowl, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg (if desired). Set aside.
2 tablespoons sugar,1 teaspoon cinnamon,¼ teaspoon nutmeg - Lightly spray a giant skillet with nonstick oil spray and heat over medium-low warmness and add the banana slices.
- Sprinkle 1/2 of the cinnamon combination on top. Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the rounds, then sprinkle with the last cinnamon mixture. Cook for 2-3 extra minutes till the bananas are tender and warmed through.
