When I tell people I’m a Chuck E. Cheese ambassador, about half the time I hear something about the food. Es:

Two years ago, Chuck E. Cheese’s revamped their menu and now it’s absolutely fantastic.Their salad bar is out of this world and they have revamped their pizza to offer some amazing specialty pizzas like this Philly Cheese Steak Pizza with Shredded Beef. Her. It’s too good. I ate a lot of this pizza alone. Also? They’re bringing back their Mac N Cheese pizza starting at the end of October. So if you’re looking for me in November, you know where to find me. #allthedrool

And obviously their pepperoni is a winner. Gavin ate four pieces without batting an eyelid. As you can see, someone (cough, Nathan, cough) was eating pizza in front of my camera. Did you know that Chuck E.Did Cheese’s beat Pizza Hut in a blind test? TWICE. And in addition to the fantastic fresh salad bar and great pizzas, there are great specialties like wings and pretzel bites. Both great!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (Lawry’s or Mortons)
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon
  • hot sauce 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Spray a 9×9 baking dish with nonstick spray.
Cut peppers and onions into small pieces. Chop the garlic. Put the minced meat in a pan and fry over medium heat, breaking it up.
When the meat is shredded but still pink, add peppers, onions, garlic and seasoned salt.Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are slightly softened.
Drain the fat from the pan and pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Cut the cheese into small pieces and place on top of the meat mixture. (I like it with cheese, so I use more provolone)
Add eggs, cream, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce to a bowl and mix well.
Pour the egg mixture over the meat and place the dish in the oven.Bake for 35 minutes or until eggs are set.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
