Pineapple Bacon Burger

Pineapple Bacon Burger

  • Author: kecha

Description

This oven-baked Pineapple Bacon Burger blends sweet, smoky, and savory flavors into one juicy bite. It features a seasoned beef patty, crispy bacon, caramelized pineapple, melty cheese, and tangy BBQ sauce, all stacked on a soft toasted bun. No grill required — just your oven and a craving for flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 hamburger buns

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon

  • 4 pineapple rings (fresh or canned)

  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese (optional)

  • ½ cup BBQ sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for caramelizing pineapple)

  • Optional toppings: lettuce, red onion, mayo

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.

  2. Form Patties
Divide beef into 4 equal portions, shape into patties, and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  3. Bake Patties
Place patties on the baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Add a slice of cheese on top during the last 2 minutes to melt.

  4. Cook Bacon
In a skillet or oven, cook bacon until crispy. Set on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  5. Caramelize Pineapple
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear pineapple rings for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and slightly caramelized.

  6. Assemble Burgers
Toast buns if desired. Spread BBQ sauce on bottom bun, add lettuce (optional), burger patty, crispy bacon, pineapple ring, extra BBQ sauce, and top bun.

Notes

  • Use fresh pineapple for a juicier, tangier contrast. Canned works too, especially in a pinch.

  • Want more heat? Add jalapeños or use spicy BBQ sauce.

  • Make it your own by adding coleslaw, grilled onions, or teriyaki glaze instead of BBQ.

  • Meal prep tip: Patties can be shaped and refrigerated a day ahead or frozen for up to 2 months.
